Tiger Telematics' Gizmondo

Only available in the UK and Europe, Tiger Telematics is hoping its Gizmondo handheld game system will make a big splash in its North American debut later this year. The company is showcasing the device at E3, and issuing numerous press releases in an effort to boost the hype.

The Gizmondo is powered by a Samsung ARM9 400Mhz processor with Microsoft Windows CE, and features a 2.8-inch TFT screen. Accelerating the graphics is a GoForce 3D 4500 chip from Nvidia. Gizmondo also includes a built-in camera, GPRS connectivity for multiplayer gaming, as well as MPEG-4 video playback support.
